According to a Wuhan, China newspaper it seems like hundreds of people that ate a giraffe at a wedding party died shortly after. Chinese authorities are now accusing an African food distributor of being lazy on controlling the giraffe meat.

On the other hand the Africans claim that the Chinese didn’t follow the instructions on how to handle a whole giraffe.

They wanted it in one piece to grill it spectacularly at that wedding. It’s hard to do that in a safe way says Joe Bushtrapp on the African side. We suggested to give them the very best bits of a giraffe, but no no, they had to have a whole “fresh” giraffe to grill over a giant open fire!
