Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook, has merged with PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, to form MetaPeta– Maybe Eat The Animal People Even Though Acceptable.

Investors are confused and stock prices have reflected this unease. Questions about the company’s business model and intentions were raised.

Do they intend on eating “animal people” or animals AND people? Is THIS acceptable?There are more questions than answers and representatives from both companies were unavailable for comment.

Investor Barden Muffet had this to say: “I really don’t understand this merger and how it will benefit either company”.

Thorenoussardus spokesman, Jeb Stone commented: “People ARE technically animals, that much is true, but I sure as shit hope they ain’t thinking of eatin’ us!”
