The first donkey in space is about to be launched by the Zanzibar Space Program, ZAZA.

Head of ZAZA space program Jimbo Hakuna: As a local tribesman and former president, I feel it is my duty to send a representative worthy of this kind of collaboration. The donkey, or African Wild Ass, will make a great ass-tronaut and we are excited to send our African Wild Ass into space.

He will be looking into Uranus, black holes, black matter – things the African Wild Ass is perfect for.
