Meatloaf miracle

It was a miracle, or a curse, depending on who you ask. A small Mormon community in Utah claims that it was raining meatloaf and gravy last Sunday, during their weekly church service. The bizarre phenomenon lasted for about an hour, and covered the town with a thick layer of food.

The residents of the town, who call themselves the Latter Day Saints of Zion, believe that the meatloaf rain was a sign from God, a blessing and a reward for their faith and devotion. They say that the meatloaf was delicious and nutritious, and that they ate as much as they could.

Not everyone agrees with this assessment. Some outsiders, who visited the town, after hearing about the incident, think that the meatloaf rain was a hoax, a prank or a scam. They say that the meatloaf was disgusting, and that they got sick after tasting it.

The authorities are also skeptical about the meatloaf rain, and have launched an investigation to find out the truth. They suspect that someone might have used a plane or a drone to drop the food over the town, for some unknown reason. They are looking for clues and witnesses, and are asking anyone with information to come forward.

local farmer, Jebediah Kornshuck: I don’t mind a good meatloaf by and by. That there weren’t no good meatloaf. Besides, if’n it come from the good Lord, wouldn’t there been gravy rain?
